Hard worker and lurning fast

To assist co-workers and do all handy man work, from roof maintenance, repair of taps, irrigation etc. I'm in control of the maintenace of the building an surroundings at the Old Age Home, as well as the vehicles . I'm a team player and co-operate with management. I'm a easy going person and can work in a team easily. Not only the experience as a handy man, i,ve learned to respect the elderly and how to treat people with dignity. I enjoy to look back on a job and experience that it is well done and in a working order.The most challenging aspect of my job is to complete a job or something that was out of order for long, and is in a workable state again, I completed the irrigation system and know at the end of the summer the garden will look like it didn't look before in a long time.

It is an excellent learning curve,

I am a highly motivated and organized professional, in my current role as Service Coordinator Head Office to the Manager Social Services at SAVF, I am accustomed to working in a high-pressure environment where accuracy and attention to detail are essential. I am responsible for coordinating all the administrative duties. This role requires a high degree of professionalism, maturity, loyalty, confidentiality and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. I pride myself on my ability to deal with pressure and multi-task with a positive and flexible attitude. A proactive team member who can also work independently, I always aim to go above and beyond my set duties to ensure the best systems are in place to allow the organization to function as efficiently as possible. I have enjoyed my work at the SAVF enormously, but financially I am now seeking to transfer my considerable skills and experience to the private sector.

Pros: Self satisfaction every day that I could assist in making someone else life easier
Cons: No oppurtunity for promotion / no salary increase

Stepping stone for greater highs in my career

Multitasking, serving, problem solving and general administrative tasks. My day starts with a rush of petty cash transactions, helping to get the social workers to be ready for a days work. Reading and replying emails. Keeping the budget control up to date, banking, and other financial duties. Recon twice a month. As I have two managers I handle all their queries and requests. I have a good relationship with my co-workers and try to help where ever I can to solve any administrative tasks, they know that I will attend to their request. They can rely on me to sort out any problem as fast as possible. I have learned to listen, respond and to be patient with any decision that need to be taken. What I enjoy most is the verity of task, not one day is the same. The most challenging aspect of my job is working for two managers, decision making is a long process and it hinders me to complete a task fast and accurate, as a task orientated person it is frustrating.

Pros: I learn a lot about people as I work with 15 staff memebers
Cons: Negativity of staff and decision making process takes to long

Work towards excellents

Have an eye for detail. Very loyal and willing to go the extra mile. As the company is a Npo one should always work together with budget and plan fundraising with community.

Pros: Fast. Detailed. Friendly
Cons: Not always having the meduims to complete a tasj

Excellent learning importunity

Doing deb and creditors Handling staff members deposit cash do staff leave have a grate relationship with staff members learnt that you have to cover your self no matter what doing and arranging functions, team building and fundraising trusting people to fast

Pros: Want to grow in the company
Cons: Don't have a problem to do work at home

New direction of interest

Some of co=-workers sweet & kind, lot of back stabbers, favouritism. But I am here not to be liked but to do a job Balancing accounts, Working hours

Excellent learning and skill

Work starts at 7:30-4 Co-workers easy to work with, helpfull and understanding Being involved in a helping process and charging life's The fact that m not fully imployed and not covered if accident happens on the road ,sinces we do outreach end home vusits

Execelent learning curve

It is a great pleasure to work in this company as I do all HR generalist duties which extend my experience in all hr/ir/er positions as I am capable doing responsibilities of HRD/LRM/HRM.

Pros: Career growth and exposure to other industry
Cons: Working independent with large number of employees, long hours almost every day in different provinces driving
