Task delivery and work relations
It was a challenge at first being introduced into a huge petrochemical organisation which was new to me but the team welcomed and made me feel at home then, equipped me with all the necessary tools to fight and win my battles. As a fast learner, i managed to settle in, in few months and perform like i was part of them for years while I'm still new. Delivering a task that is beyond the due date due to lack of material is frustrating although it's beyond my control but it served as a lesson to buy and keep such matterial onsite in case a similar issue happens again.
Pros: Delivering as per schedule, knowing and understanding the whole plant and processes.
Cons: Long hours due shutdown for major maintenace on equipment.

Good at learning new technical work based activities,
My typical work day is most filled with executing next steps, which mostly includes drafting repair strategies, repair packages where by updating of drawings is also included, updating vessel drawings, piping drawings which their design and operating conditions. involves working which a lot of people such as foreman, who execute the work we prepared, and artisans who we issue maintenance strategies. The jobs requires knowledge of a variety number of software's, ability to operate the soft wares is mandatory. What I enjoy the most is seeing what I have had prepared being executed, e.g. starting with making up drawing, ordering material as specified in the drawing, having welders make it up and having foreman's install the component and seeing it in action. Most challenging aspects is when a certain party In the work process don't play their role, which now makes my work progress slow and the work process involves a lot of role players, having to explain to an individual on doing their job

POLC: plan-organise-lead & control Start plan for the day to stay organised to be able to lead or guide the workforce and ensures everything is under the control. Engage with the team to go through our deliverables We compare previous day or week with the current in order to learn from mistakes. We open meetings by check in. My energy is stimulated by presentations I have to prepare for the work force, working on incident statistics, by providing training sessions, going through legal inspections, being part of engineering reviews, compliance audits and management of audit findings, meeting government bodies. At time it can be a challenge to review policies, procedures, risk assessments, so forth. It is not that easy as you may think. In the process you need to consider legislation requirement, be up to date with changes of the laws, you need to have right people by your side.

Gain experience on Safety of the people
The most typical day at work it when I have to be a safety stand for a job that takes the whole day to be completed. Me and my co-workers we get along with each other so much to a point that if we can see that you have been an safety Standby for that job for more than hours we relief each other so the other person can be able to eat and rest. I have learnt that safety and production it the most important priority at Sasol and that rules are being obeyed once broken you face consequences for that. Working with people of different age,gender,race and job description they had because it made me to be exposed in such places. When you have to be an Safety Standby at night and when it very cold at the open space and always ave to careful of harmful gases.
Pros: If the contract was longer or I was an permanent I was going to get promoted because there's always an opportunity at Sasol of seeing people growing inside their company and help them with rise and grow with knowledge.
Cons: It very good because of what I have learnt in such a short period of time,Sasol it very good with people and their Safety with rules that are hardly to be broken and also loyal to their workers.

Excellent opportunity to work there
The job was fun n very challenging at the same tym. I worked well with my team mates especially my leadership they delegated most work tome. Ive learnt team work and to work under pressure. I ve learned many new skills like communication in a meeting and computer usage. The most challenging aspect abt the job was having a leak on the plant whn it rains..

We working on very critical equipment thats a great deal of experience
I'm working in the workshop,doing pumps,gearboxes,fluid drives and decanters,as planned work sometimes we have them as emergency work.I'm a team player always willing to share information where required and ask for help if I'm stuck.I enjoy working on emergency work because it give me more capacity to learn.coming up with alternative whenever is due on critical work.
Pros: Involving myself in all the work we do and always being available when needed.
Cons: I'm available at any time for standby and long hours.
