Accept the fact that, what may be a pressing matter to me may not be as pressing to a co-worker.

On a daily basis I liaise with +-50 suppliers via email or telephone. I am the only one who follows up on late purchase orders (goods and services). Different business units rely o my efficiency for delivery of their requested goods or services. I get on really well with my co-workers. Our team spirit is very high. I have learnt that in order for my job/tasks to be persecuted effectively, I need to inter-act with colleagues, because at some point they are the ones who have the information I need to follow up on orders. I enjoy being able to manage my time knowing that at the end of the day I need to prove/provide data o all that I have executed. The most challenging aspect of my job is having to receive responses from suppliers who are not as enthusiastic as myself. That really frustrates me.

Process artisan

working for Sasol in was an eye opener for me where excellency and safety is no compromised and hard work is recognized and rewarded. Team work is very important and you must be always be willing to learn from your colleague since you cannot buy experience. The interesting part of my job is you will never stop learning since always you experience a different type of problem on the plant.

Pros: You can grow from just junior employee to be a seniour mananger of the company as long as you work hard and keep on studying.
Cons: sometimes is frustating when some of our collegue they dont do their job since is a continuos operation so what ever he didnt do that he where supposed to do you have to do it and again if your reliever is a late comer since you cant leave without a reliever

Good working conditions, medical aid and bonuses

Monitor the email and in-boxes of the VP and provide necessary support based on the action that is required , such as urgent requests to be sent, queries to be handed over to relevant member of the team, and meeting deadlines for submissions of all relevant documents
