Sasol Polymers Reviews

Good company to work for learned a lot and had good time and exposure to the export world

There was no standard way of starting your day, it could start of chaotic to a quiet afternoon or quiet to problematic situations ranging from problems at the harbour's, plant not producing enough products that was sold or promised to the clients, customers cancelling order at the last minute due to the storage problems at their factories, due to their clients not needing the product anymore, to the problems with customs and documentation but eventually what ever problem u have has a solution either with high cost or no cost at all I had a good relationship with ex colleagues we played hard and worked hard ,every body loved me I was the one who would always initiate some sort of team building when the moral is down we shared jokes and our life stories but most of all we connected multi cultural we all blended well

Pros: promotion was never even on our dreams it never happened
Cons: Not all the time it was a voluntary thing

Dedicated Reliable Good interpersonal relatonship with coleagues And driven to meet targerts

• I started working in 2006 as a quality controller at Shatterprufe windscreen manufacturing company. I was later promoted to be a machine setter/operator then again promoted to be a team leader until December 2009. I then joined Sasol Polymers on the 7th December 2009 to date as a machine operator. I'm working in a high pace working environment with Siemens conveyors and German machines. • Operating the machines, making sure the product we producing appears on SAP via WMS, dealing with Delta V screens, opening and closing of of Silo valves via DCS process PC • Highly pressurized, deadline-driven environment-highly diverse and team focus. Highly standard level • Collaborate with cross functional teams in … to achieve strategic objectives

Pros: Recently promoted to Learner foreman
Cons: Inolved in projects that requires long hours and weekends
