. I Junior Analyst, I have experience in testing industry.
First time i arrive at Sappi i met friendly people at sappi who are very much devoted in teaching students to what they have to learn as soon as possible.during my training i have learnt how to analyse sugars from wood pulp using HPLC equipment were we were trying to quantify the amount of monosaccarides in pulp .I have also learn hoe to test water looking at the following parameters,Ph, conductivity, COD,and also cations using ICP ,it was such a pleasure to learn such kind of experiments. I enjoyed working in the laboratory it kept me from thinking about outside problems and also chaotic problems at work with some co- workers. The challenge that i have experience is when i have to present on what i have been working on ,on a certain month i found it so hard such that i even fake that i was sick because i felt so intimidated

A new challenge each day
I am involved in technical customer support of internal and external customers. There are new chalet he's to deal with almost everyday and you have to be flexible and open to change. My ability to prioritise and organise my daily tasks based on the requirements for that period helps me achieve my goals and meet deadlines timeously.
Pros: opportunity to travel and interact closely with customers.
Cons: requires extra hours of work at times especially in preparation for customer visits

Experienced in electrical projects, technical/practical knowledge and plant maintenance. Having a good understanding of plant equipment’s, electrical drawings, execution of projects and LV, MV and HV maintenance and Automation Systems. Registered as Candidate Engineer with ECSA and accepted to write GCC, with a broad interest of working within Packaging/ Renewable energy/ Automation/ Mining/ FCMG/ Steel industry and other industries. With the objective of acquiring Engineering position to co-ordinate and increase plant/industry productivity by applying my skills, knowledge and experience.

A new challenge each day
I am able to work with diverse groups due the exposure I have obtained during my time at Sappi. Dealing with internal and external foreign customers has thought me the importance of being flexible and tolerant under different circumstances. I have the ability to adjust to new situations with ease . One of my strong points is my excellent interpersonal skills. I have been afforded the opportunity to travel overseas to visit some of our customers and this has impacted me in several ways. I find it easy to interact with people at all levels as my current position has afforded me the exposure and assisted my development.

CAREER GROWTH
• I compiled detailed design and drawing of mechanical, structural, architectural and piping. • Liaised with contractors and suppliers in obtaining quotes for proposed project work. • Supervisor construction work in the mill and surrounding company premises to make sure it is done according to construction and required standards. • Head mechanical and structural projects till the hand over stage. • Provided a project planning and scheduling service to Project Engineers and Project Managers (as required). • Assisted Project Engineers/Managers in scope definition of Projects (as required) • Checked drawings produced for project work that is within my responsibility. • Ensured standards of drawings are properly complied with and then complied with during fabrication/manufacture/erection (weekly)

Since I have been employed by Sappi, I have contributed to the company’s future in a positive way. Throughout my career I have always maintained the highest performance standards, more details of which can be found in my attached resume. I have a track record of developing teams of not only HR professionals but also in the manufacturing environment. Where I have 24 years’ experience in the manufacturing industry, 7 years of those in the capacity of Production Superintendent and 8 years in Learning and Development, and achieving operational excellence through the effective management of staff. My role in all various positions gained me experience as an HR generalist, where I were involved and worked on all HR related fields, from recruitment, industrial relations, business processes and people management, to learning and development.

Good experience
I have spent the last five years learning many different skills. A typical workday consists of multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss the days activities and coordinate interdepartmental activities. It then moves on to a departmental meeting followed by getting on with individual work. The people at the mill are friendly and work well together for the most part. I have learnt how a business functions at different levels. I have learnt the main factors that influence whether a business is profitable and how alignment of employess with company values, goals and objectives is key to this success. I enjoy the type of people that I work with. The conpany hires good people for the most part. People who contribute positively. The most challenging aspect is integrating the knowledge learnt during undergraduate studies into the real world while learning to manage people; which is no doubt one of the most difficult things to get right.

Excellent
I am currently working for Sappi as a Senior Clerk doing forecast, monthly recons on accounts creating Requisitions on Sap, follow up on outstanding orders. In charge of petty cash
