My day starts with preparing and sending daily reports to my superiors. Checking the previois days stats and sending it to the team. Do system recording for quality assurance purposses. Update the teams stats , call a meeting if neccessary. Do coaching for non performers. I have a good relationship with everyone on different reporting levels. I have learnt how prepare and create a business process document, business rules, trainning of staff , starting a department and running it. I enjoy quality assurance and solving problems. The most challenging aspect is sitting on a hering that threatens someone elses job and knowing that I tried my best to help the employee , but it did not work. I love working with diffefent kinds of people , the dynamics keeps me on the toes and you learn something new everyday.

Excellent learning curve
I had to wear different hats when I started working there. I had to put together and start a department from nothing. Interviewing staff, creating bussiness rules, playing a role in testing the system and creating processes. I have moved throughout the bussiness with different roles. I am currently at the back office managing a team. Some of the skills that I have are as follows; managing claims and complaints, debt collections, customer service, trace and quality assurnce. I was given an opportunity to act on a higher position when my Section Head was on sick leave for a couple of weeks.

Good interpersonal, communication and integrity required
I am coming from an experienced field from escalations, tickets management and first line fault finding. I provide the best customer service through understanding customer's queries. And I can manage the front or service desk duties. I plan I head, should I be given tasks I focus more on priorities, set my deadline and ensure that every job is done, escalated and updated at the end of my shift.

I have extensive experience and knowledge in Quality Control within a 24hrs Operations Centre.
I have mastered gathering and collating information to be summarized and report on through various training and on the job experience. I have also conducted multiple QA/QC audits from my prior job’s national branches and then written consolidated reports for all the national branches on the findings of the investigations and presented it to executive management to help make decisions. I feel that I have the relevant experience which I can really use to add more value at your firm and transform it into a world class experience. I have a willingness to grow and lead and also to embrace change while learning new ways to do things more effectively and efficiently. Working for Sanral has afforded me the opportunity to work with a lot of Mayors and Premiers.
Great company to work for but a lot of long distance travelling which is affecting my health. The company culture is great but lacks structure .and managent culture is also very poor with a lack of decision making.

Recruitment and develop technically
hrSusI I I I ws responsible for supervising NQFs students on site to make sure that quality control is performed and also taking site records during road re-surfacing Ivgo along well with co-workers and always united to achieve production. I learnt the method of doing re-surfacing and block paving walking and alo how to take quantities and do Bill of quantities. I enjoy to work on site mostly because I learnt a lot as am exposed to activities.The challenging part was estimates and building rates because once you underestimate you are in trouble. pesholds

I like working at coega because we deliver service to the public.
My Name is Vuyokazi Mabuya and I am 38 Years old. At the moment I am working as a Senior Buyer for Coega Development Corporation. Coega Development Corporation is Mandated by south African government to develop the Port Elizabeth IDZ and is also working as an implementing agent for government department to procure service provider that will build schools for DOE (Department of Education) as well as DOH (department of Health).

Great benefits
Some days are super busy others are quite. A lot of intellectuals, everyone is very smart and learned. Technical experts in their respective fields. Not very good succession planning. Everyone holds onto information as it makes them invaluable. I enjoy working flexi hours and being accommodated as a single parent. I enjoy that Sanral cares about its employees. They have great bursary programme so you can build yourself while in their employ. I’ve learnt I’d rather take a 13th cheque than a performance based bonus thats not guaranteed.

Cons: Lots of work, you’ll put in a lot of overtime (unpaid)
