A typical day at work would be fast paced, filled with many meetings, deadlines and day to day admin duties. It’s important to keep in regular touch with suppliers so a typical day probably includes a supplier meeting either in our office or theirs. We’ll discuss current product performance, talk through future product development ideas for upcoming seasons, review costs, margins and any returns or quality issues. A supplier meeting usually ends with action points on both sides - and almost always a request from me for lower cost prices Wonderful co-workers, a bunch of energetic and helpful individuals, colleagues where supportive to assist me in growth path of my career.

Pros: Learn a lot of thing , went from being an admin clerk to a junior maintenance planner then a buyer
Cons: hardly knocked off early even during holidays

Level of learning is great

Learning at work is a great place to grow and to push yourself to learn colleges are great to work with works as a team. At work you learn here about minning and smelting of metals. I enjoy most is waking up in the morning to go to working and gathering knowledge about the machines and company..

Pros: Hard work and they see where you wanna go in live and move up
Cons: Long hours on site but not worth it

Limited to growth as an individual

for the department I'm in not much growth takes place and you are not encouraged to do better overall the company looks like people are happy at the head office

Expediting

A typABuildsmart, Stock Management, Expediting, Outlook, Microsoft andTeam Building plus collecting all relevant data for inventory which is part and parcel of the job

Pros: High pressure and getting items to site on time to minimize breakdown time
Cons: Long hours and breakdowns may occur at any time

I am a workshop manager.

i am a qaulified petrol,diesel and earthmoving mechanic. have more 15 years open cast mining exsperience. i have a great working environment and grown so much in my field of enployment.

EExpediting is the key to the area and that's what makes it even more challenging we get to pressure ourselves up to ensure all items and targets required are achieved in a reasonable amount of time

Computer Capturing, Filling, Scanning, Laminating, Counting Stock, TPM, Despatch Register

Because we were working with trucks and tyres, I was Capturing the TCS document from the sites, creating new tyres and trucks on TPM system and moving the tyres and trucks from our us to the different site where the truck run or where the tyres delivered. I had happiness relationship with all my colleagues. To learn from me is how to work or to talk with people and that TPM system tought me more opportunities. The most enjoyable was to capturing and counting stocks and sometimes answering calls. I was a hard worker.

Pros: They hired me as Clerk after three months promote me to be a supervisor
Cons: 7:00-16:00
