SAFRIQUE INTERNATIONAL Reviews

Learning curve

I am currently working at Safrique International. Started on 2nd May 2017. I enjoy working at Safrique and the team is excellent. Team work is very important at Safrique. Its a very professional environment, however, its very far for me. I have a 5yr old daughter who just started school and I get home 8:30pm which is very late and cannot do all my motherly duties. Hence am looking for employment not far from home. I live in Dobsonville Soweto/Roodepoort.

Pros: Great opportunity
Cons: Far from home.

Logistics Manager

Planning, and co-ordinating loadings, for SA, or the Cross trades shipments, consisiting of 20' / 40HC containers. Doing shipping dox, and packing lists, and invoices, as well other certificates required for the countries shipping to. Dealing with suppliers, and local & overseas. Deliveries and collections, for local market, for product brought in from Vietnam. Good relationship with co-workers, can be demanding with them, and always speak my mind. Learnt alot from moving from receptionist, to sales, to logistics. Dealing with the cross trade, and experiences to switch bills. Challenging is the day to day, as anything can change during the day, regarding loadings, and needing to make a plan etc.

Pros: Have had oppotunity to get promoted
Cons: work every saturday, and public holidays.
