Safair Operations Reviews

To have a sense of urgency and to prioritize everything as the nature industry everything is urgent

It is a great experience to work for the company and to be also exposed to this kind of industry, even though i came with no experience but I have learnt a lot already but the main challenge was that everyone is too busy to teach someone as it is high important to ensure that the aircraft are in the air to generate profits. There most stressful day is when the aircraft is grounded and you need to source the required part worldwide and bring it in on the next day. to achieve this you need to have a strong relationship with your suppliers and have a reliable freight forwarder. My most proud achievement is to learn everything from managing suppliers contracts, RFQs, negotiating prices, repair of parts and to complete my tasks at no time.

Pros: I am currently studying as I have lot to achieve so I am definitely not a person who appreciates a comfort zone.
Cons: Working long hour is normal from avation industry

Good learning curve

Work is manageable the team is awesome I have learned a lot about creditors job, processing the invoices and doing recons. I now know how to prepare the payments of the suppliers I know how do my without any supervision The most challenging part that I once came across it was when I was given the authority to do overseas accounts for the first time. I can work under pressure and still pay attention to my work. I've learnt to take responsibility on my work and the suppliers that I am doing. I can manage big accounts without any problems.

Pros: No signs of promotions
Cons: Not appreciated and there are no complements for the employees
