Learning curve

Checking all requisitions and supporting documents are in place before i capture on the banking , all goods of more than R5000 three bid comparisons should be attached giving reasons why the service provider was chosen. i supervise a team of 6 finance personal our rapport is good .i have learnt to be fair and consistence in my executing of duties .i enjoy capturing payments on the system and liaising with suppliers .The most challenging aspect of the job is meeting the deadline when reporting to the funders because some members of the team are always absent and some are slow hence this will always put me under pressure covering for them

Great interactive Role

Working for the Catholic Church has given me a chance to not take things for granted. A typical day at work is filled with reports and meetings. We work closely with NGO's and provide them with funding so part of our daily tasks is to ensure that those funds are being utilised in the best way to benefit the beneficiaries. I would like to thing that i work well with my colleagues and that we have a great team spirit in getting out jobs done diligently. I have learnt the power of patience and i enjoy bringing hope tho the destitute. the most challenging part of my job is the travelling to the most poorest parts of our country and not being able to help every one.

Pros: Meeting influential people
Cons: No basic benefits to my salary
