Good learning experience

There is a day to day routine on how one works. There is not much of flexibility. However, the staff are amazing, very thoughtful and considerate, like i had mentioned, there is a sense of togetherness. They will hold your hand and guide to what you need to know/learn. I have learnt to conduct myself in an ethical professional manner e.g. keep doing my work even when the manager is not around, that self discipline. Attention to details is something that i also learn, to say, in everything that i do i have to tripple check if not double check. I have learnt multi tasking while prioritising. I enjoy sharing my opinions and advising on what to do. The most challenging thing i have encountered is dealing with an angry client who is not willing to resolve matters, who only wants to speak and ofcourse you have to listen to them, wait for them to calm down and say your part and find a way forward.

Pros: the culture and how there is collective effort by staff
Cons: No opportunity for my career growth

Human empowerment

My job allows me to assist companies to engage with their employees and create strategic programmes. I really enjoy being part of the solution.I have learnt to appreciate people and their stories and draw the canvas of solutions with them. I have become a better listener and that helps me be a better Human Resource professional. Recognising employees as success indicators is a value add for the business and data that surrounds it is key for business prominence. I use data to predict trends and curves on the HR landscape and that really improves business sustainability.

Pros: Great networking
Cons: benefits
