Excellent Learning Curve

Start of the day by looking at Centrally Managed Inter-depot Board and check how inter-depot loads are on dispatch status. Do depot stock level analysis reports and determine Days Of Cover. Our target for full beer stock is 4 days or more. Prioritize stock that is under 4 days of cover - both packaging material and full beer stock. Determine is all fleet resources are running at full complement. Address any deviation with any of the 10 suppliers. We ran a complement of 500 trucks to move stock between 07 breweries and 105 distribution channels nation wide . I enjoyed solving customer supply issues to the maximum satisfaction of the customer. Challenges include production machine downtime and lack of packaging material to meet our short term packaging plans and stock outs to customers.

Excellent Learning Curve

My name is Sipho Masina I am an Advertising graduate from Varsity College Pretoria and i have also had the opportunity to accomplish a certificate in Lead Auditing within the ISO 9001:2008, SANS. I am personally a creative person, a quick learner, i am an ambitious hardworking person who is always willing to learn more and advance from one position to another. I am also a great team player and i interact well with my peers and supervisors and i am not shy to take the lead as I love challenges. I communicate well, i have good presentation and organizational skills, i am able to work under pressure and deliver in tight deadlines. I give great dedication to any work given to me and i like to get things done not only in my own way but the way I have received orders. Lastly I am a reliable person with a creative mind that shows my passion for brands and the love I have for great production and deliverance.

Experienced Supply Chain Professional and a Visionary Leader

Work shift patterns- 3 by 8 hours. Plan and execute medium and short term production plans. Move stock between 7 breweries and 104 distribution channels nationwide by utilizing over 650 fleet resources from external suppliers. I enjoy the planning control leading and organizing our systems in executing these weekly plans. I also like problem solving and dealing with customers on a daily basis. Our challenges remained stock outs and packaging materials/empties shortages to supply the production lines[line stoppages] plus truck breakdowns I have learnt project management - the whole cycle Typical work day - arrive and go through a shift handover documents and identify deviations. Address them immediately as per our plans so as to avoid falling short of our daily objectives. Call distribution channels to let them know of pending orders, fleet breakdowns and other constraints.

A day of an Account Manager in the Trade

I ma responsible for the management of sales, brands availability, promotions, pricing, merchandising, set sales targets & hitting volume numbers, and manage relationships with particular/select customers. And also I maintain the company's existing relationships with a client or group of clients. We work and win in team, this built excellent relationship with my co-workers. I've learnt discipline, team work & winning as a team. I enjoyed work hard and playing hard at the same time/fun part of the job. Challenges included, high crime rate in the Trade, always be vigilant. Irregular hours meant that we have to work at night as well in these dangerous areas & including weekends. I am used to this kind of environment.

Pros: Fun, Hard work, excellent on-the-job training, clear goals
Cons: less family time, mostly all about work

I HAVE A VERY GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH MY CO-WORKERS AND DO RATHER ENJOY THE INTERACTION I HAVE WITH MY CUSTOMERS, DISCUSSING PRICING, POINT OF SALE AND etc.

Eye opener

Its an organisation of excellence and has minimised error/waste with patnering with employees,management goes out of their way to ensure diversity is understood to ensure peace among employees.pre shift meetings have served as a major tool,thiss way we have tried to reach our goals but most importantly have direction via them
