Multi-discipline environment.

The current company I work for is a company that divulges in pipe line inspection robotics and bespoke engineering solutions. The company was a young company that needed to find its way into the pipe line inspection industry with various competitors, which was achieved. The Company Culture is dynamic and include people of various authenticity's, yet all employees had the same company interests and that lead to the creation of a company like family. The Company included various aspects of engineering with very few employees therefore alot was required from every employee within the company, this lead to several tough times and long hours but as most families do, we all pulled together and pushed through the tough times that came our way. The Company also invited various high school students and university students to embark in job shadowing and vacation work for their own personal development.

Pros: Exposure to multi-discipline engineering and manufacturing. Great experience gained. Alot of responsibilities
Cons: Minimal staff.

Excellent experincial learning curve

As it is a research and development company, many projects push you to your greatest potential and you get to work in different areas of mechatronics which is also one of the greatest things to acquire.

Pros: Great opportunities for self- growth in the industry
Cons: Bad pay and minimal chances of moving up
