Manager: Training and Development
I start working at 07:30 from Monday to Friday. Every morning when I review the previous day performance of my subordinates and highlight areas that needs attention. I relate very well with Colleagues, e.g subordinated, superiors, colleagues from other municipalities, colleagues from LGSETA, Trade Unions etc. We have an open door policy where all stakeholders are free to make suggestions and where possible amendments are made. I have learned that only accredited training providers should be used for identified skills needs to avoid fly by night providers, and that companies with the highest BBBEE scores should be considered. What I enjoy most is seeing employees who attended courses being declared competent and receiving their certificates of competence that gives them a chance to apply for more senior positions. What frustrates me is when SETAs take long to disburse funding for the approved learnerships and payments of stipends for the unemployed learners.

My Supervisor saw more strength as to our intro when he was asking for our names in a morning meeting of our first day at work and he said he it will rotate to others but I guess I was the lucky one so I was nominated by my seni or supervisor to be a junior supervisor for the whole course of 6 months. topics

I'm intending to study feather in transport because I don't just love it I have passion about it.
Knowing that you add value to the company makes me wake up everyday, working with people give me joy but sometimes it irritates when people fail to take instructions.working in fleet Management people start to hate you because you r doing your job of making sure vehicle are not misused, fuel is not stolen and sometimes u receive a death threat because other employees are dismissed.

Excellent learning curve
Assessment of business processes. Cordinating sessions for operational and strategic plans.Review performance. Performance report. Excellent working relationship where you interact and work with people from different directorates. Provided an opportunity to learn different aspects of municipal business. To be meticulous with details. Enganced my project and people management skills. Most challenging aspect was the companies financial muscles to deliver services.

I am willing to work and learn.
Fleet management and maintenance it is very interesting because great thinking and support from co-workers make Our day to day job easily by attaining Our goal of making sure that municipal vehicles are on the road for service deliveries aspects for the surrounding communities. I've learnt that right diagnosis is essential for doing right job and being professional too. I've enjoy where Other mechanics see hindrance to fix vehicles or machines then I know that I should apply My Mind and to win. Most challenging is when parts and materials are not arriving in time then it makes Our day to day work difficult
