It's a good making money business
I like facing different challenges in a day.Russells furniture is a big company that is operated by a team work so with that I very much enjoy doing my best on every challenges that I'm faced with I dedicate my mind and heart also my time to achieve a job well done. I personally respect everyone personality because simply every one is amazing On everything we do and everyone is different and unique this company it has reached me a lot like control my self at work place,to be responsible, to respect others, to see things in a different eye not to judge but to accept .the most challenging aspects of this job is dealing with a very difficult custom Who doesn't understand the procedure of works and having a system problem .i love my job it keeps my mind stimulated and active all the time.
Pros: It's a great place to work at and a good opportunity
Cons: This job it's doesn't have a knockout time it's always extra hours

I have learnt a lot in this company
Tha company has been good to me . Ast the staff members we always get training every six months. My manager is always holding meeting with staff every Monday to check if the work is done the right way, and also to listen to the problems we are facing, or how to grow the business.
Pros: So many opportunities.

Hard work, walking the extra mile. From temp to Manager, relieve regional manager.
Staff meeting, cleaning shop, display, price cards, create cash & credit deals. Scanning deals to head office for approval. Cash up banking, recon with bank statements. Planning promotions. Managers chek list daily. Action plans to improve sales monthly. Profit and lost recon. Work with staff, not just give instructions. Loading customer items. I'm only as strong as my team. Good reationship. Leading by example, Derve respect, can not force that. Praize good results. Hard work and efford, improve yourself, as well as the business. What you put in, you will get out. You are only as strong as your staff is making you. Team work is very important. Listern first then react. Most enjoyable is to achieve budget. Happy customers and staff, give good results. Most challenging, with retrenchment of staff, less staff to get same load of work, and still keep boss happy is not an easy job.
Pros: Not much at this stage, I got an income
Cons: Less staff to do more work. By achieving budget, is still not enough for boss. Draining all staff till the limit, even more. Were always proud to work for a company, lots has been changed.

My experience in working at Russells for 8 9years
I m a self motivated person who plans his day and make sure at the end of the day whatever was planned have been achieved. Im a hard worker and I get along well with poeple. I take instruction from my boss very seriously. Over the years I ve working at russels I've learnt skills that I can use successfully wherever I go. Russels went through a restructuring process where we lost a couple of our team players. The whole team that was left struggled we were forced to be multi skilled.
Pros: The structure of the company was flat and opportunities was available at lower job categories. Since was a manager the next level on top was the area manager and in our region there was only 2 of those positions overlooking 20 stores.
Cons: Retails in most instances is long working hour. That have made me strong I can handle any working hours as long as I will be rewarded. I have also worked under a lot of pressure and I have handled it very well.

Excellent learning
i love working at my company because there is no different between home work work ,my co-workers are always happy ,fun ,willing to help in any matter e.g financial,work related,home problems etc.my relationship with them we are like brothers and sisters ,we love one another and there is always happiness between us .i have learnt how to provide a good customer service,how to operate a new retail pos application,learnt how to deal with difficult situation (customer complaints,family matters and the most challenging aspects of the job is reaching the monthly target because we have to come up with a strategy ,ideas and make sure of the committement you are putting in the morning you will fulfill it before the end of the day.

Sales drive was the main focus on my Job description
I was doing sales management Staff Management Cash Management Customer Complaints House Keeping Customer claims Logistics Management RFC I was having a good team at Russell's always driven to reach our target each and every month and they where achievable.we where the one of the branches that will always achieve target before month end.fieldwork was the only tool that makes us to be successful in our shop and prospecting over the phone .

Current part time student
I like to work at a friendly inviroment in my own space at a given time and also to socialize when necesary .. I easily adjust to new environments and always ready to relocate.
