Working at RSM.

vmy typical day when working from home: 1. I connect to to the VPN. 2. Open and go through my emails. 3.Respond to client queries. 4.Open and track my evets/tasks at hand. 5. Attend department meeting. 6. I try to check in on my co-workers on a weekly. 6. I than begin with my work and try to tackle urgent matters first. 7. I try to end off my day by updating my timesheet on a daily. I have been exposed to so much knowledge and tax background especially with Estates.Being a tax compliance officer has taught me how to communicate with clients. I have developed different relationships with each client. Working with clients has been a great experience and the most challenging experience at the same time

Pros: No opportunity for promotion.
Cons: exposure has been limited to the individual side of things.

Work on Client's books - Bookkeeping up to Trial balance Day to day client interaction Solve queries with SARS Friendly work environment Learn more about independence and team work

Pros: Eye opening
Cons: Distance drive from home
