Team player, hardworker and Productive

I'm a good turner I can read drawings, machine and achieve a small tolerances, I ve worked on the following machines : lathe machine, milling machine, surface grinder, Sloting machine, vertical & horizontal boring mill. Im very fast and PRODUCTIVE, I can measure using Fitting is also the job I realy enjoy, I ve worked with Pumps and valves,Hydrolic & pneumatic, Assemble and disassemble of gear box or other machines but the most important part of my fitting was based on Turbine and GENERATOR that's where I ve gained a lot of experience on fitting

I have 10 years’ experience working in SHEQ and 21 experience doing Injuries on duty (WCA cases). I have successfully managed the Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) advisory service with Eskom Rotek by ensuring compliance to SHEQ procedures and systems, the improvement thereof and compliance to all relevant legislation by Eskom, Rotek and its subcontractors. Projects department representative to the water management forum. • Attend water management focus meeting - give constant feedback on projects so that management and production is aware of projects from conceptual design to production hand over. • Give feedback at CCI meetings on all projects related to water plant. Compiling project package from conceptual design for the installation of 3 electrical compressors with matching combination of refrigerant/desiccant dryers plus 2 diesel compressors with its desiccant dryers. Phase 1 installation this FY Have taken over the Fire Protection Boiler inner & outer ring main replacement project at the execution stage. Compiling financial costing for Pilot project on reinstating the De-Gritting sumps project, currently at DRA stage Assigned as project manager for the Sulphur common Pipe line and it’s manifolds replacement; 200T and 80T refurbishment projects of the Sulphur plants – currently assisting engineering wit

Excellent earning curve

Excellent earning curve Normal work hours and when working overtime you get paid for it. medical aid and pension fund the employer pays half. Employees get a housing Subsidy and the meals are also subsidized. there are managers who know their job and there are others who just hold degrees and whatsoever but don't have management skills. I have learnt that whether you have schooling beyond matric or not as long as you know your work and deliver on time, you get recognition from management.

Excellent learning curve

The experience at work is not bad, the problem is the agents we work under. They do not threat us with dignity as qualified. Would like to pursue my dream in this industry the environment is friendly, if only they can cut out he agents. The other problem we encounter is that they bring foreigners to supervise us while there's no proper flow up on their qualifications.
