Wonderful and valuable experience!

I was given the liberty to manage my workload and schedule my day as I saw fit. Once I have ensured that the most important tasks have been completed, such as placing orders, ensuring all staff are present on site, filtering important emails; I then tackle more demanding work that may take a number of days- such as account reconciliations, HR projects, improving filing systems- to name a few. My relationship with my co-workers was professional and excellent. The most challenging aspect of an occupation- I have learnt, is not the job itself, because one can learn and master any skill they desire and work hard to. It is enjoying what you are doing and respecting it regardless of daily challenges- such as difficult clients, unreliable suppliers, etc. Through my experience I learnt to maintain professionalism and respect at all times, to challenge yourself rather than compete with colleagues and to do your best without draining yourself!

Pros: I was exposed to various fields- such as marketing, sales, administration, payroll, sars.
Cons: Very little room for growth
