I have grown amazingly at this company.

I started out at Rondebosch Golf Club at the age of 21 in the Proshop as a sales assistant, 1 year later I was promoted to Accounts department where I worked for another year, a year after that I was given the opportunity to move over to the membership department and later given the task to run events. I believe I mastered that as I am a great people's person. I am now after 11 years at the company the Events Manager hosting all events and functions.

Pros: Meeting celebrities often
Cons: Long working hours

Challenging yet rewarding

dealing with member and guest issues daily long hours, but flexible relaxed environment, yet fast pace conditions planning events, and corporate golf days drawing up annual budgets and forecasts menu developing Staff training on increasing sales its a sporting environment, and when you have time you can go practice your swing

Pros: great opportunity for growth
Cons: dealing with complaints daily
