Day in the office

A typical day would start off by doing a plant walk about , speaking to all the operators to find out about possible production issues. Have my daily production meeting to discuss previous days production performance with the management team reporting to me. Discuss engineering breakdowns and down time. Measure production performance against the production plan. Attend to any customer complaints or Quality Issues. Discuss safety performances there might have been. After the meeting give feedback to the COO. Spend time in the office to authorize PR and check actual expenses against budget or forecast. Attend at least two mission directive work team meetings per week.

Pros: Team work
Cons: Pending on mining industry

Pros: Great leadership
