Gained a lot of experience and ready to spread my wings

I am doing what I love a Reneilwe Community learning Centre and also learning a lot of skills from my colleagues and managers. I still enjoy working here but I believe that I can learn even more from another environment, i also believe that experience is meant to be shared hence I am ready to spread my wings. I produce good results and love my learners a lot. The success of my learners is my greatest reward and it gives me satisfaction to see them pursuing their dreams. The challenge of my work is that while changing lives of people i become too attached to them to an extend that when they leave the centre by progressing to another level of education i become sad.

Pros: I am working hard to be promoted to a position where i will lead and advice other lecturers and facilitators
Cons: I understand that in order to meet deadlines I will have to work more hours. my commitment and dedication always allow me to work long hours in order to succeed in my work.

Excellent learning curve

I've worked part time at Reneilwe Adult School at Mamelodi West as an invigilator. On a typical day we would invigilate ass we're to do,we'd get oders from the chief invigilator that was assigned. As invigialtors we were expected to fetch question and answer papers from the teacher's centre. I've learnt persevarance working there,as we were on duty we were expected to stand and walk around to make sure the exam room is in order. I've enjoyed interacting with the learners,my colleagues and the teachers the most which gave me the purpose of going to work daily. The challenging aspect of the job was the most mischievous learners and ones who thought they were dominant.

Pros: great opportunity to promotion
Cons: long working hours
