my daily duties here is to transport staff from where they park their cars to the office and back, collecting and dropping off of documents to different areas. there's wonderful relationship between us as co workers, they are so understanding and that's makes my job easier . what I love most about my job is that I've been given a free role to play here, they allow me to manage my staff accordingly, suggest whenever it's needed and priorities according to my daily schedule. what I consider as a challenge here is when the staff members arrives late at the parking point to catch a staff bus to the office , and when they get to the office , they say is because of a kombi, they always use kombi as their scapegoat when they are in trouble of being late for work.

Pros: great opportunity to go as high as possible
Cons: long working hours indeed

Excellent for the experience

Working with team members who would always double-check my work and call me out on mistakes, I learned to be detail-oriented and to think three steps ahead about what I would be asked. That will help me in this client-driven role because I’ll always have prepared well-thought-out answers to questions they haven’t asked yet.

Pros: Great opportunity for starting to have an experience.
Cons: There's no growth in the company

I am the manager of the meter reading department.

I am the manager of the meter reading department and my work is to manage the daily schedule and the logistics for the meter readers to travel to various buildings in South Africa. My relationship with my co-workers is a professional work relationship. I have learned to work in the corporate world. The company look after the well being of the workers and try to to improve the work environment.

Pros: The company do a lot for the well being of the employees
Cons: Long Working hours and the salary is low

Great way to learn how to work with people and processes

It is a constant hectic environment with issue solving. Co-workers do not really mix. They form groups I have learnt how to treat diffetent people I enjoy problem solving The most challenging part of the day is dealing with people who do not understand my job and what steps needs to be folllowed

When i have to offer best customer service to staff and clients

I always tell my self i go to work do my job even when i wake unhappy as its part of my job description to pay my duties. i really love the environment and the culture if the company, i am very friend and working with friendly and open people that understand each other. I have learned to handle pressure and facing all the challenges that i come across at work. challenges i am dealing with are,when i have to speak to difficult clients that are waiting for assistant on their accounts regarding application, cancellations and payments to call center department as its always hectic. I enjoy to see clients happy of service that i offer.

A lot of growth personally and professionally.

A typical day at RMS - RMS in one word would be pressure. The utility industry in my opinion never stops so we are constantly busy attending to queries and making sure our clients are happy. My team is strong and dynamic, many personalities that sometimes clash but we always seems to work through things. I enjoy the people I work with, I've learnt how to deal with many personality types and also built good relationships through business. the most challenging aspect of my job is time and also the pressure that comes with working at RMS,
