Productive Work Culture

Working at Thomson Reuters now Refinitiv is an amazing opportunity mainly because of the culture. The culture is one that is inclusive and very supportive towards employee development. Thomson Reuters is a global company and this means working with people from all over the world through webexes, messengers etc, conference calls etc. This has its challenges however it teaches one a lot in terms of working cross culturally and forming relationships with different stakeholders. I have learnt that hard work pays off and people will more likely want to work with you if you go an extra mile, and you stand a chance to be part of bigger projects. I have really enjoyed being part of the strategy throughout the years. I have been privileged to take part in things that not only concerned work but community projects and presentations such as one young world. which really meant that I get to explore other things that are close to my heart. The travelling opportunities were really amazing also.

Excellent exposure ( holding meetings with senior leadership teams and hosting external clients)

Excellent working environment and great support from the top leadership team. Exposure to internal processes was far the best that the company has provided to us as graduates and the ability to learn on the job is by far the best way to learn and become an especially in your role.

Pros: Great exposure and trust from the highest level in the organization.

its an okay place, but there is less communication between management and employee, theres a blur line between management and employees. Lack opportunities of growth
