Reef Insurance Brokers Reviews

Working for a brokerage as opposed to an insurance company

It has been a very huge adjustment for me having worked for big insurance companies with many people from different cultures and joining my current company that is so small and has very close knitted relationships amongst co-workers. Where the personal well-being of an employee is as much important as their professional well-being. This experience has taught me that relationships and emotional intelligence is as important on a personal level as it in a professional environment and that is important for success in business. I also enjoy the open policy that we have as a smaller company as most of the client's are personally related and have very long business connections with the directors and would at times demand specialised rates on their policies.

Pros: i have manged to learn so much more about the insurance business not just on my specialities but on my co-workers different fields too.
Cons: There is not much growth opportunity

Good company to work for

Good company but I felt there was no further room for growth within the company. Great work environment most of the time. Lovely staff members at Reef Insurance, lovely friendships were made. I felt my position as a domestic claims administrator and my work was very fat paced, lots of pressure. Although enjoyable at times. You build lovely relationships with your clients and service providers alike. Reef Insurance Brokers as a whole is great company to work for and the job was very rewarding.

Pros: Lovely environment to work for. Co-worker are very friendly
Cons: Lots of pressure, office conflicts, Nov toomey for growth
