Excellent learning curve

Typical day at work includes housekeeping duties as soon as we open the shop. This is cleaning, fixing apparel and footwear, and floating cash. Later in the day my duties involve helping customers find exactly what they are looking for , as well as suggesting to them all suitable combinations of outfits. I have learnt to have patience with customers and good verbal communication skills. I have also learnt to be creative with combining colours of apparel for displaying as well as for customer use. What I enjoy most is the teamwork involved in my job, this is most evident on a busy day when we really need to work together effectively and efficiently. What challenges me the most is when it is most quiet and there is no customer traffic at the shop. It demotivated me because it defeats the entire purpose of coming to work.

Pros: The are growth opportunities and multiple training sessions to improve skills.

A typical work day consist of opening the store A typical work day consist of opening the store and conducting daily management such as filing paper work answering emails completing audit files and ultimately making sales in order to compete with other brands. The skills I've learnt were customer service and communication as well as being able to have subordinates that you can manage so that the store setting can run smoothly.
