Learning curve

I am a Junior software developer with a demonstrated history of working in the retail industry. Skilled in Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Azure, ASP.Net with C#, Web Services API, console application development, XML and Android Development. As a result I look to always improve my overall knowledge in the information technology industry, to ensure accurate and efficient work processes. My aspirations are not only to improve my knowledge of the information technology industry but to come up with new and exciting innovations using the knowledge I acquire. I’m motivated by a passion for computer literacy and fascination of the endless possibilities that technology can be used for, which is why I strive for success and progress in both my knowledge and the career in IT I aspire to pursue.

Growth

On a typical day, I would create sofware and sql release packages and deploy it first to QA then to UAT and once we get sign off from the client, I would deploy the release to production. I am a team player and believe in team work and empowering one another. My position comes with alot of pressure as I have to see to operations as well as creating releases and provide 3rd line support.

A day at redPanda

Quite simply put, working at redPanda is like being at Google, with a smaller budget. People are friendly and everything is a collaborative effort. At any given moment there is a break up to throw ideas around to get the best possible solution ready for a customer. My day starts at stand up. As a product owner I assign priority to tasks and then deal with shaping the backlog with the DPM. The hardest lesson for me was to learn how to break bad news well for my customers. When a deadline cannot be met that is.

Cons: None that I can think of.

Great company

Love the company ...there is a work life balance. Your growth is up to you as an individual. You reap what you sow at redPanda. It's one of the coolest company anyone could ever work for
