Great learning experience

Coming from a big corporate to work at a smaller firm has exposed me with a great deal of managing the overall management of the entire business. Apart from managing and motivating staff to deliver the required output, it also let me manage the diverse granular aspects of each area and their processes. From 1. Call center, their telephony systems, software and data platforms 2. Fleet to manage drivers, procurement, insurance, tracking and planning of routes 3. Operations that involved recruitment, salaries, leave and payroll, stock control 4. Finance aspects that includes budget, targets, debtors and creditors 5. Marketing where my creative side evolved in design, target strategy and key account management

Pros: Fantastic learning curve to experience the service delivery side
Cons: Competitive industry where client movement impacts small companies directly

Working with different people and handling emotions.

Not bad if you looking for experience. Thworking hours are not that bad, management really needs to improve here and thereere is no much of growth thouhot .w

Good learning and training within wellness industry

Environment that one learns different issues that people face at their workplaces. They have good employee wellness program and excellent service when it comes to employee support program. Within the years of working in the company I grew up to be able to see how certain things such as HIV at workplaces has an impact to others, most people know a little about the virus.

Pros: Great learning curve
Cons: Not being guaranteed that you will be permanently employed

Enlightening experience

I have a pleasure of working average hours with a very good and cooperative team including supervisors and managers.I have learnt patience what hardwork and dedication to duty through team work. I enjoy working under pressure. Most challenging aspects of the job are deadlines.

Exposed to difference things - like the corporate wellness.

This position into the commerce industry has been on that has been different, dealing with medical aid claims, and the position as a financial manager is different to that of an auditing manager.

Pros: Flexi hours - that i hardly use
Cons: No longer any growht
