Excellent way of extending my knowledge of the working world, handling clients and sales

A typical work day consists of handling potential clients who may be interested in insuring themselves and ensuring that they are covered at all costs. In doing so, I assure clients of helping and assisting them to the best of my ability while learning at the same time. My relationship with co-workers is great as they are very helpful in teaching me my role in the workplace, assisting where they can. I have learnt to handles clients and situations with care, respect and professional attitude. What i enjoy learning new things when it comes to the workplace, and how they conduct themselves The most challenging aspect of this job is trying to encourage a client to agree to the product you selling, not every client has the funds to do so or they are not willing to give you a chance.

Pros: Great exposure to the insurance world
Cons: Clients not accepting what you are trying to sell, not every client is trustworthy especially if you come across as a telesales person

Life and Investments department.

I work within an office of three staff members, each in charge of a separate department. We deal with the processing of applications, clients requests, customer service, submissions of claims, general administration, etc. I have been specifically assigned the Life and Investments department.

Pros: Vast knowledge within the insurance industry.
Cons: Extremely stressful.
