Learnt a lot and the experience gain is awesome.
We work from 8 to 4:30 , our company is big we value each other opinion a lot, being at the company for for more than 5 years . I enjoy friendship that I have build up some of which have developed to family. I have learnt that dedication is very important part of my career, and in order for me to enjoy what I do I have to have the love and willing spirit always. Every time our deadline is meant on time and the job done properly first time gives me the joy and I look forward to a new day and new challenge. Working with lots of people not everyone will present the same spirit as you put into your work, that can be challenging as not everyone will look at what you do as important or same the same goal as you do.

Cons: I am ready for new challenges and so far my growth path is not happening soon enough.

To promote a helth and safety culture amongst employees.
My main aim is to create a safe and healthy environment for employees to work in. I have a good relationship with co-workers and they know that I am always available for advice on health and safety matters. My day consist of daily site walks and introducing awareness programmes. To me personally it is very rewarding at the end of the day to see that I have made a change in the life of somebody.
Pros: Planned Task Observation training was done with supervision and implemented to measure the level of compliance to legislation and procedures.
Cons: Different cultures working on the project African, German, Philippine etc. is causing communication problems due to the language barriers.

Working at RSC
The company and top management are results driven, you need to continuously work and produce results. You are given the maximum amount of work, sometimes not even in your job description, minimum amount of employees to achieve maximum results. I do have a good relationship with co-workers and I get along with most of them I learnt to be a team player and be reasonable in your decision making, one cannot always do things exactly according to the book I enjoy the fact that I can arrange my traveling and site visits as I see it fit, I am allowed to do my work without too much interference The most challenging part is the fact that during tender stages minimum salaries is allowed for SHEQ personnel, you therefore find it difficult to get suitable candidates and in most cases should appoint juniors, this causes that the SHEQ system do not always function properly, you should therefore do continues training with appointed personnel, help them with their work etc.

Not being treated fair
I honestly think that I have discriminated against as I have been as assisting the HR department for over 2 years and was never granted the opportunity for promotion. I know all the ins and outs of the company. I know 250 employees by name and surname and this is due to dedication and passion. It has not made any difference as i am still in the same position as i was when i first started with the company.

Good learning curve:
The company has room for growth, and what i like the most is communication between employees. what i have learnt the most to respect and willingness to listen to my fellow colleagues no matter how low the position one carries.
