Excellent learning curve

Has too much workload, lots of deadlines to meet, very good learning curve and experience. Colleagues are good team players, I've learnt that every job has it's own challenges and needs commitment from one. I enjoy most when I'm able to perform at 100% and meet all deadlines along with production running smoothly without problems. Challenging aspects are shortages of raw material, machines breakdown, too much workload and short of assemblers.

Pros: Gaining vast work experience
Cons: Too much workload and missing deadlines.

Great team player.

I have a great relationship with my co-workers. I am a great team player and I do well individually. What I enjoy most is learning new things although growing within the company is very hard. Once they know you are brilliant at something,they keep you there for ever.

Pros: Trusted employee. I am the one that tests new products.
Cons: No growth within the company.

Excellent industry scope and learning

Great working relationship with colleagues. Stressful, challenging yet exciting workdays. Project planning, purchasing, capacity planning, scheduling, inventory check, negotiations and costing.

Pros: Excellent opportunity to learn more about the industry
Cons: No opportunity for promtion

Its a good place learn some parts of Mechanical engineering

Mostly i liked working night shift,cause that's were you can operate the machine without disturbances from other seniors.I learnt alot operating the lathe machine to understand it and produce quality production,i enjoyed producing quality parts even though i would face hard challenges of being left with warn out tools and my seniors would lock the tools in the offices

Pros: You work hard but you wont get promoted unless you xhosa or you have a someone close to your family to get promoted.
Cons: Work hard less remuneration

Great place to learn design basics

The favorite part about the job was getting a project which we needed to finish in two week's time, from development to manufacturing,that really improved my time management skills and communications with suppliers. Mainly dealt with enclosure designs, cable clamps, auxiliary power module and train interior and exterior lights.

Pros: Broad experience in electronics, military and manufacturing, includes using CNC lathe and Mill
Cons: No process controls or procedures

Excellent start to a great career.

It is very fun, challenging, always meeting targets and always setting new ones. Its a great opportunity if you wanna learn a bit about engineering and meeting hard targets, you get to work with experts and experienced people who motivate you to be the best you can be.

Pros: Great for a stater
Cons: Long hours little pay
