Fast working environment

The environment is quiet fast moving. Deadlines are tight and everything is done in like a "rush". I work quiet closely with the developer to understand how the system and processes work. I have been at the company for 6 months now and every day is a learning curve. Although i do believe the company has a lot to learn in terms of processes when it comes to the testing world, as testing is fairly new in the company. A typical day at work would be stand up in the morning where the team would discuss what they worked on the previous day, what they will be working on for the day and any challenges they face. The project manager would then send out a list of priority items the testing team would have to work on for the day. If there are no priority issues or production issues, we will just pick any item on the list and work on that.

Pros: Nice friendly people
Cons: No room for growth

New experience

it's extremely challenging and exciting my writing, analytic skills have improved drastically since I joined the company learning new things every day

Cons: due to the unorthodox nature of my qaulification i feel left out at times
