• Controlling all the storage activities. • Monitoring the quantities available on stock, • Receive material; check all of it on arrival. • Allocate the material to the correct job. • Keep a record of material going out and update the purchaser to order in case of shortage. • Prepare the material for the jobs in advance. • Keep the store tidy • Perform other tasks as may be required by management. • Capture purchase orders and material received and going out on a master (excel).

Taking resposibility on machine operations involving setting up jigs a

Heavy engineering manufacturing environment with heavy Horizontal, Vertical, Lathes and Radial drilling machines. We have a welding bay with CO2 welding, argon and MMA Welding and we had over head cranes up to 20 tonnes jobs which is mostly castings steel and Cast iron. We also have fitting and assembly section for all assemblies, inspection and testing of manufactured valves our products.

Pros: Less chances of promortion when work load is low
Cons: Normal working hours 40hrs per week and overtime increases with increased work and urgency
