Gathering experience
I maintain buses,ready them for road test on a given period of time. I work with a specific type of bus make namely the Irish bus,with cursor 10 engine. They are full of technology compared to the other makes we have in the deport. It's always something new and different to learn specially on the electrical side. I work very well with people that makes it easy for me to learn and also transfer knowledge and wisdom. The team is united that makes it easy for every1 to be productive and help each other,lack of proper tools and spares makes it hard for us to produce with respect to the time interval given per bus for its major service. Also the quality of parts play a major role for the life span of the vehicle and questionable trade skills.
Pros: great apprenticeship programme
Cons: lack of opportunity for growth

Technical problem solving and decision making
As required ,I am able to perform all kinds of repair and prevent maintenance . services of a variety of diesel vehicles in addition ,I have demonstrated ability to perform inspection on suspension, electrical basic ,brake and air systems. furthermore I have a demonstrated ability to read and understand instructions manual and analytics charts to troubleshoot and analyze potential problems. The most challenging thing to words my work you always find differents problem ,but thts where I learned the challenge and to find Fault .

Staying in the family
Arrive at the office at approximately early, as I travel from Pretoria to Soweto. Audit internal processes Review & spot check data, compile feedback for departmental heads to correct. Redesign excel files (Financial Report - long term). Liaise with Directors to provide updates / feedback on specific projects. I have built a network of colleagues whom I can contact for advice / clarification, and vice versa. Friction with executives, as we do not always agree on everything. I have learned to be more open in dealing with employees, initially I seemed closed off due to shyness. Increased confidence in dealing with senior managers & willingness to respectfully express a differing view. Difficult to manage managers, especially as they are aware that I am on the same level as they are.
Pros: Unique industry with unique set of circumstances allows one to be innovative in tackling problems
Cons: Long service senior management team & directors do not necessarily want to innovate and/or change.

I'm a fast leaner
Mechanic job is a simble job that need a Pearson. I love to cominacate with coworkers about the problem I find and how to solve those problems . I'm good with problems solving.

Am a hard worker.self motivated,loyal and honest
I started working at putco in 2009 as a bus driver,I was promoted in 2014 August as a transport office in 2016 i was promoted again as a sectionp(road supervisiour/controller )the most I am an honest and reliable worker who has good organisation skills.I believe l am team player who can work without a supervision.I have drive and initiative and I can work under pressure. I do believe i can be an asset to any campany.
Pros: to be offered a position in a company where by my warm personality, ability to communicate with people and eagerness to learn be utilized
Cons: I will work overtime when I was instrated by my supervision, holidays and on weekends

Am a fast learner and able to work as a team
I love working as a team cause working, because an individual can't know all things like when you are doing break downs the is many challenges that you meet but if you are two it's easy to over come the problem cause you share the idea, The relationship with my co-workers its very good we are a family we respect one another regardless how old you are and we share the information and we help one another What I have learnt since I started mechanic is that you won't know everything so you must keep on studying and doing research cause technology is growing each and every day and the other thing that I have learnt is to be patient and that I must believe in myself all the time and that if you Dnt know you must ask I enjoy seeing the vehicle that I have worked on it does not come back with a breakdown or a defect and I enjoy getting my hands dirty for a good thing The challenging part is when you take the vehicle to a test and it fails and you know that you did everything but still it fails
Pros: This is an opportunity for Myself to change my life and to go to a new environment and get to know other people and to be at the new workshop

It's been great learning experience
It's been a great experience working for a big company like Putco, it has given me so many challenges that comes with experience in me a learning curve that I will never forget. I've learned to work as team player, under and without a supervision and still managed to produce a good job required from me by my bosses. Hope going forward I'll be able to produce the same mentorship to the company and people I'll will be working for or with, when or given the opportunity to do so!
Pros: Great opportunity for one to explore to bigger opportunity
Cons: Normal working hours and good working conditions
