Good to learn about Transportation industry.

Working for PUTCO has taught me a lot about what's happening in transportation. I have learnt to work under pressure. There is a little room for promotion especially to black people. The relationship with my seniors is good and also with my coworkers.

Good learning curve

I'm a hardworking person, computer literate, attention to detail and fast learner. I can handle pressure with minimum supervision. I'm career orientated, I'm seeking growth within the company.

Excellent learning curve

I’m a hard working person, fast learner, attentive listener & career orientated person. I’m currently working for a huge Transportation bus company in South Africa, PUTCO. My job title is wage Clerk, working in Payroll Department. Excellent Industrial skills; time management, organizational and prioritization skills; efficient & self-motivated, strong follow-through and follow-up skills; analytical and problem solving; stress management skills, honest and trustworthy; demonstrate sound work ethics.

Great learning experience.

At work, I plan the calendar for IT and OHS Training. I assist with registers for every training. I conduct All IT training and some of OHS training. I enjoy interacting with different people with different backgrounds and experiences. I am able to link all their experience and skills to what the business does. Most challenging part is when training booked does not have sufficient delegates due to different reasons e.g. people missing a bus to training center.

Pros: Lots of opportunities to learn
Cons: Sometimes you feel you are doing routine work

Great company to work for unfortunately not a lot of room for growth. There was no time to spend with my family but I'm forever grateful for the experience
