Protea Chemicals is highly target driven environment, where pressure is always on. This is due t the fact we function in the commodities space, where everything is attached to volatile markets. Price change everyday, making the task tension with the customers to be very engaging. We have lot of competition, targeting very same customers that pay our bills. As the result I have to stay on top of my business, numbers and customer feedback to be ahead of the pack. The biggest challenge comes from our trading model, we emphasize high quality service making our costing to be on the higher end of the spectrum. We have to trade against companies who carry very least to no overheads. That has taught me resilience and steadiness.
