Founding employees working without correct PPE

My company was a big company working for sasol as our client. Our part was to supply with manpower doing mechanical work. Doing maintenance work removing and replacement of valves, servicing equipments and comply with Health and safety. Thank you

Excellent learning curve and preparation for future endevous

It's a quite interesting company which gives it's employees a chance to show their abilities and again expirience gained the is out of this world because i would work be a hot work storeman on the other hand just to have more background knowledge.All i can say is that i give my all in all aspects of my work and willing to learn more things as you'll never get enough of learning new things in this industry...Again i have a strong working relationship with my co-workers and exceptional communication skills and respect for them.

We only work on a contract basis. Namely shutdowns.

We only work on a contract basis. Namely shutdowns. Under alot of pressure continuously and we get paid 165 an hour for working in sasol and secunda. Other companies pay their inspectors 220 and up per hour so I do feel I'm being exploited abit.

Pros: They have alot more work than other companies
Cons: Money is not enough for the job I do and the pressure and accountability I have to take.

Great opportunity career wise

A day would start by having a toolbox talk to discuss and remind everyone of all the safety aspects of the company. Then we would go on and talk about the target for the day, whether it includes working on site (Sasol refinery) or at the warehouse. A typical day would range between 9 to 13 hours. Everyday you can learn about a new trade, because everyone has something to teach.

Good company to work for

This company is the best when you want a good explosure of petrochemical industry they do everything that that sasol workers do. They rotate everyone into different plants so that they will gain more knowledge
