Excellent learning curve

in charge of inventory and checking that daily cycle counts are being done, procedures are adhered to and my relationship with the staff is excellent.

Pros: Getting to learn something quite new
Cons: no growth really, as my position would stop by Inventory Manager

Key Account function for Traditional Trade

Over the past year I was afforded the opportunity to get involved in the Key Accounts activity of the business. Although a very small business, this was great learning curve for me. It has always been something aspired to do a learn more about. Also managing an agent to achieve the optimal sales height. Coming from an agency this has helped me work better and be able to engage with our sales agents from a point of understanding their challenges and how to work in overcoming them

Pros: Smaller business, which that the opportunity to learn and grow is enormous
Cons: Being positioned alone within a geographical area could become quite stressful at times. Ways of communication is normally by mail or phone calls and once per quarter an interaction with the rest of the team. This does apply pressure to perform as well
