Great gain of experience

Dear Reader, ROMAN is a leading international consulting company specialised in development cooperation. Created in 1986, PROMAN is providing services to international donor agencies, national governments, public institutions, and development partners worldwide. I work in the South African office where we are only 4 employees, we have a great team and work especially well together it is more like family, we also do remote work a few days of the week. My daily routine/tasks are to maintain a good relationship with the different beneficiaries, stakeholders, consultants, etc. I am also responsible for their time management and invoices. I regularly do work plans, budgets, methodology development, etc. I have learned how to work with diverse, complex multi-million projects. The thing I love the most about my job is problem-solving, it has its challenges, but in the end, it is always nice to know you could solve a problem that seemed unresolvable.

Pros: Great opportunity to broaden my experience
Cons: Maybe isolated, if only working remotely

completed a R 4.5 billion project within 24 months. managed a team of 5 project managers.. defined the procedures and processes required and managed the company accreditation to obtain ISO 9001 .

Pros: created super functional professional an contracting teams
Cons: long hours and disrjuptive family life
