Great learning environment

Flexible working hours, great team, and mostly I loved meeting new people every day. Gained a lot of experience while working as an Intern, learnt so much in a short period of time. I know so much, from being in the floor at bag conversion to being a receptionist. I can mostly say I can adapt easily to any environment I'm faced or put in.

Pros: Excellent customer service offered
Cons: No professionalism between staff and management

Learnt new products.

I worked for in the rigid plastics industry for 17 years and I enjoyed learning a new product which was flexible packaging. I was not micromanaged and was free to do what I needed to do. I also did a lot of cold calling which I enjoy as this is a good way to get new business. Only downside is that the owner was very big into Managers and all his key staff had to be managers.

Pros: Being able to do my own costings. Not being micromanaged
Cons: Not being able to do our own printing and relying on outside companies.

Great learning exposure

As I started as an intern in the H.R field I’ve been exposed to numeracy skills and development I’ve been assisted to all bellow: Creating and updating information on the HR information General administration Relieving in Front Reception Administration of leave Updating contracts Compiling notification letter of termination Preparing hr contracts to preferred candidate Opening new files Loading new employee on payroll Arranging internal and external training Drawing weekly wage pay slips Compiling Job Description Advertising vacancy Maintaining record of training Capturing Disciplinary on payroll Dealing with HR Queries

Pros: great opportunity
Cons: fair working hours from 08:00 till 16h:00

Knowledge of ISO22000 and BCR

everyday is a challenge when in a manufacturing industry I work well as a team and on my own i have learnt that no matter who feels intimidated by what you do as long as you make choices that works well for the company never forget the passion you have for what you do ,it is the only thing that motivates you Challenges at work is how you handle pressure and your complaints,and what you do to make things better
