Study supply chain management & stores controller

I worked in the fmcg companies for the past 28 years - I have 22 experience in SAP system. In SAP I worked in MM & WS modules. I have experience in placing orders for import stock items. I have extensive knowledge in local buying & I have good communication skills as well with my suppliers. I always source for better pricing for stock & non stock items. I have a spread sheet were as I do my monthly cost savings & submit to my manager on a monthly basis.

Pros: to become a procurement manager
Cons: making sure that the days job is completed before i leave - not a time keeper

Good Team Work

Sometimes people that are supposed to support you are not willing. Have a good working relationship with all the people I work with. I have learnt the spirit of team work. I enjo the most is implimenting new ideas. Getting things done on time is the most challenging thing .

Pros: Daily learning
Cons: Good hours

Worked in the FMCG companies for 26 years & i have SAP experience in MM - WS & import buyer as well.

I work in the Supply Chain Department as an Senior Supply Chain Buyer. I do all the sourcing of all new suppliers & negotiating for the company. I am looking at various options of cost savings, such as transport , consumables , raw materials & packaging. I enjoy my job because I meet people of different cultures. In

Pros: this company manufactures fibre glass products such as panels for buses - Marco polo , Putco - Man - Bell Trucks - we manufacture all these for our customers - & i enjoy every moment of watching how this process is done. So i get a better idea of how & what goods to order in the process
Cons: to work in this enviroment u need to understand about how the company operates & all the company procedures. u need to be pro active in what u do.

Not enough exposure

The company currently hires people based on the number of their working years which increases resistanxe . Change is required for the company to move forward and to be profitable. Increase efficiency
