I am seeking new challenges and greater opportunities

I am part of the shift team and i work from 10am to 10pm. My duties are to take calls from clients and suppliers and assist them or link them with other clients and suppliers. Sourcing is a term used for procurement which also forms part of my duties. I also assist with control room logistics for GEA. i have a professional relationship with my co-workers and because of them i grow as a person because most of them are older and i am still young. What i have learnt here is that life or people with throw you in difficult situations, fair or not however i learnt that i take and just go by doing what is expected of me. The hardest part of my job is dealing with office politics, the environment is very very tough and some people will do whatever it takes, good or bad to get ahead. How i deal with it? I know who i am and what i stand for. I do not go with office wind, i do what is right and i stick to it even if it means it handicaps me.

Pros: The Company is expanding and there are opportunities
Cons: No salary review and no bonuses, i have been on the same salary for 3 years

The right candidate for the position

I'm a fast learner. I've always grown with being promoted in a company because I'm always ready and willing to learn. Good listener and pay attention to detail. I have good people skills because i was a receptionist and I did company inducton. I'm always the first point of contact for new employees. I have the relevant experience for the position and I adapt very quickly to change. I believe in hard work and determination, with that you could go very far in life.

Pros: I would learn so much and do what i love which is working with people.

Excellent learning curve and gained experience

i start work at 08:00 but im usually earlier than that and i knock of at 17:00 of which also i leave normally around 18:00 or 18:30 i have a good relationship with my co-workers as im a friendly person and i work well individually as well as in the team i have learned a lot since i been in this role and i am quite a handyman myself what i enjoy about this role is that it has so many challenges and responsibilities and it is suitable for me as im a very vibrant person and i adapt easily to change and love challenges i can get a call anytime of the day or night to attend to emergencies such as electrical fault/ power failure or plumbing or server room needing urgent attention

Pros: Learning experience and great opportunity for promotion
Cons: Long working hours

Great senior management

No room for growth

No room for growth opportunities or to be paid higher. Too much politics among young managers and employees. No bonuses no 13th cheque no salary review work hard for peanuts basically

Pros: provide goods for occasions
Cons: working every weekend
