Due to changes in the South African workplace since 1995,The company I work with (one of the previous biggest project management consultants in South Africa)has scaled down over the last 20 years but is still a company with a great reputation and staff working there is of the best professionals that you can get in the project management industry. My job position allows me to interface daily with Project managers, Project engineers, Design Office Managers and staff as well as the Project controls division staff. We have a great relationship and all normally work well together to assure the reporting against our projects are of the best quality.

Pros: As I am a contractor the only pros is assured work as and when we have new projects coming in.
Cons: Cons is that if and when the company does not have sufficient work in hand some of our contractor staff becomes employed on a stand-by basis only
