Building relationships with colleagues and clients

I would like to highlight that I have learned a lot about working as a Team and the importance of honesty and integrity in a working environment and to be an example and Ambassador for the Company you working for because you actually representing the organisation whenever you are. As a professional person you must always be friendly and polite and be in a position to handle situations like having to deal with difficult clients you must always make sure that you end the conversation politely and in a professional manner all the time. I enjoy working with people from different cultures and backgrounds it is really helpful and eye opening as to understand how other people's cultures and traditions complements yours and others as well so that creates a warm mutual working environment with no one tapping into another's toes type of situation, but I must also say that its challenging at first but with caution and consideration of others peoples feelings makes it work better.

Pros: There is a big opportunity for promotion because the company is very big Internationally
Cons: Woking long hours is not an issue as long as you meet your targets and prioritising your work against your time

Getting exposure in different types of audits

I have learnt alot from Price Waterhouse Coopers since joining the firm in 2014. I have gained alot of exposure to different types of auditing such as IT auditing, Performance Auditing, Financial Audits. I am responsible for coaching junior consults, drafting working papers, drafting system descriptions, handling communications with the client, reviewing junior staff workings, drafting and finalising reports on reviews. My relationship with my co-workers is very good, as in most cases we work as a team on the audit reviews. I have learnt how to work well under pressure, dealing with difficult clients,report writing skills and gaining confidence in the work that I do. I really enjoy my job, I enjoy the travelling and also making a difference to the clients based on our recommendations we make in report writing. The challenges we face, is when there are client delays which has an impact on the deadline and also just dealing with difficult clients.

Excellent Leadership styles

B-BBEE At an Audit firm is somewhat different to a BEE Agency because of the type of systems in place. There is very less interaction with colleagues as we are always out with clients but when we actually get to be at the officer. What I enjoy most about the way PwC operates is the technicality behind BEE Audit,how we document different Procedures and arrive to conclusions.

Excellent place to work. Excellent learning curve, but it is time to move on

Good company to work for. Salary not great, but it is a training centre. Relationships also very good with co-workers. It’s a full packed schedule everyday, so always hard working in the office. I enjoyed my training period with PwC but it is time for me to move on now.

Experienced Data Quality Analyst working in the accounting industry. Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Management, Customer Services, Oracle, Microsoft Word, Information Technology, working with large amounts of data and ensuring that the data is cleaned and correctly migrated into the Global master data system within the firm as well as other relevant systems. Investigative skills for complex requests that come through to the Data Quality Service Desk Forum within the company. Project management.
