Access controller

working with people every day is vey challenging but if are patient and communicate well with them the job became easily.i am very likeable person so for me to interact with my co-workers is easy. What i have learned is customer services, communication is a key point.Most thing that i enjoy is interacting with different people evey day. the challenging aspect of my job is when customers dont want to produce ticket on the access point.

Learning curve

Had a great working relationship with my co workers. We all worked as a team. A typical work day would be arriving at 7:30, checking the emails to see if there's anything I need to attend to urgently or if there's any important communication from management. I would then start doing my daily tasks. When managers arrive they usually have some adhoc that they would like us interns to tackle, that would also form a part of our day. I mostly enjoyed working with my team we treated each other with respect and we had healthy competitiveness.

Excellent learning curve

At my company we work together as a family they allow us to further our studies in a form of giving us bursaries. Its challenging at times because we work under pressure where you are axpeted to fix a packed train at a platform with angry commuters.

I have developed to become a positive thinker who gives 100% to every task required.

I have done my Technical qualifications up to NTC4 in Electrical Engineering (heavy current) then proceeded to do a Trade Test in Diesel Electrical Fitter with Transnet Training Board under apprenticeship program (section13), I also obtained an Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology1&2courses with ACRA. I am looking for a company that offers job opportunities that align to my field of study through which I will be able to apply my knowledge and enhance my skills. I am a Diesel Electrical Fitter by trade with more than 15years experience, worked for Spoornet, Transnet rail engineering (transwerk) and Prasa, I am also willing to work as a volute to gain more experience and to familiarize myself with the working conditions.
