A typical day at work: capturing job cards, making out job cards for artisans as they come in the office and ask for them. Some other days we would do filing. I get along very well with my co-workers, I voice it out when I don't like something rather than keeping quiet about it which makes it easier to move on from it. I have learnt how to be submissive yet assertive at the same time, being fast at almost everything I do and also working with different kinds of people and races. I enjoy the interacting with the different people who do different things at the mine, they helped me learn how a mine operates. What challenges us the most is when there is a deadline and the artisans don't hand in their work on time and we have a huge amount of work to do in a short amount of time.

Pros: Friendly people to work with, learning of different things everyday and promotions
Cons: I am currently too far from home and we work under too much pressure from the client

Always willing to learn new things.

I am a data administrator at my current position. I work in the maintenance department at a company that produces cables. I capture job cards on a system called Ok Key. I have experience working on SAP as well. I am fast as well at meticulous.I take pride in my work and I work extremely well under pressure. I am a peoples person.

I am a hardworking, quick learning and team player

Walking into a stunning building is a breath of fresh air. My typical work day consists of performing my daily tasks I was always afraid of Microsoft Excel, but working at Pragma gave me the experience and I am more at ease and confident using Excel to the max. I enjoy working with my fellow colleagues. The most challenging aspects of my job is that I hardly get time off and even if my leave is planned in advance, I still sometimes have to work from home. I also feel left out as management is not big on communication. No medical aid contribution. We have coffee machines on every floor, get weekly fruit and daily rusks from the company. We also have an internal E-Learning portal for staff.

Pros: close to home and good working hours
Cons: No room for promotion

scoping and scheduling maintenance work, identifying appropriate resources Implementing preventative panned maintenance system.  Developing periodic trend analysis of breakdowns andexpenditure,  Facilitate plants monthly SHE meetings Outage/Shutdown Planning and Scheduling. Co-ordinate Capital projects Assist with CAPEX budgeting

Great opportunity to learn and grow your skills

Its great company to work for, my skills are basically 90% from Pragma, I've been afforded the opportunity to go beyond my specified duties. The challenge is pay satisfaction and the volume of work, its manageable with extra effort but overall the company is good.

Online learning courses

Fast growing company. Take care of employees well being Care about their staff You dont get recognition for hard work or going the extra mile. You not rewarded for going over and above your target or deadlines. Your ideas and suggestions are not being taken note of.

Pros: Great online training courses
Cons: No room or oppertunity for growth or promotion
