A good work environment

It has been a great experience considering i am fresh from university , my senior is very understanding every time he gives me an activity to do he shows me an example of how i should do it . I have learnt a lot from the place and very e.g compiling quotations based on estimates , ability to read clients requirements and ensure they form part of the cost , how to update material and i also had training for syspro system . My challenge is not having too much exposure on accounting of hich its the field where my passion lies .

Good lesrner

I worked from Praga Technical Pty ltd for 6 years, I started as machine operator, got promoted at a tool setter, due my performance got promoted to become a team leader, I worked with targets, problem solving, finding the roots of problem if target not achieved, reporting problems if can't be resolved. Displinary codes, If a member not doing what is supposed to do warning will be issued,

Pros: Ideal is to learn more
Cons: Overtime

Management by fear

Management by fear all people work in a negative environment. People are nice but over worked . Hard work but in my 2 years i've learned a great amount of mechanical knowledge also some electrical . EXCELLENT LEARNING CURVE

1. Good relationship with colleagues 2. Great team work 3. Meeting deadlines within time 4. I have been always receiving excellent feedback from my employer, which proves my strong commitment to perform my responsibilities in professional and effective manner. I like to work in a team, but I am also comfortable working on my own. Furthermore I am good communicator, accurate, goal oriented, Thanks to my wide experience in Junior Industrial Engineer. In addition to my workplace experience, I have the following skills: Computer skills, Critical Thinking, Problem Solving, System analysis, Instructing, Time Management, Active learning.

Good learning curve

Racist company,where I operate two robots simultaneously at a rate of 35 rands an hour

If praga was a company that treated black employees fair I would really love working there as I enjoy my job but the fact that I operate 2robots at the same time without any ventilation system to cool employees down ,I find it hazardous to work there

Life changing

i recently joined praga technical from SOUTH AFRICAN AIRWAYS TECHNICAL where i did my 3 years apprenticeship, the automotive industry is very interesting and everyday is a learning curve having to work with different parts and machines

The most challenging supplier to the motor industry

The most challenging sector in the manufacturing arena is most definitely the Automotive industry. Constant bench marking and continuous improvement to compete with Global Standards, make this industry exciting, rewarding and very challenging. Once you entered this Industry, it`s like joining a Worldwide family, you know that competition to be the best is inevitable, and by trying to be the best is not an option. You just had to be the best.
