PostNet The Glen Reviews

Excellent Learning experience

PostNet The Glen is a wonderful business to educate yourself with the business industry. It is a 9-5 job and most of the day you are busy with clients who walk in and need solutions. Solutions to courier luggage to different parts of the world, printing solutions with design work and binding documents for clients who have regular meetings. Co-Workers are proactive, helpful and on the same mission; which is to meet the target of the day and get the work done. It is fun to work in a challenging busy environment, you learn how to work fast with people and getting the job done in a accurate manner as requested by the client. Timing is vital, smiling genuinely, and successful promises to clients is the key. I enjoy talking to clients and getting to know them. They keep the fire going, you get to know the clients likes and dislikes and what makes them keep coming back for more business, benefits PostNet The Glen and the Client.

Pros: Exposure to Business Principalities, Flexible working hours, Work from one PostNet to another PostNet if same owner, Get training from head office and learn multiple skills
Cons: Long working hours, unpaid leave and unpaid maternity leave, no benefits

Good learning curve

I have learnt how to deal with clients and learn reception / basic admin kills. The hours are not the greatest and earn not enough money for the hours worked. I am also a jnr graphic designer and enjoy that some of the time although i don't want to do it forever.

Pros: Alot of learning experience
Cons: Long hours, poor salary
