Ο Support the commercial team and develop new sales
ο Effectively deal with telephone enquiries requesting quotations for products; compiling information on the desired products including prices from external suppliers. ο Create quotations from tenders received, ο Proactively chase tenders using a variety of means including builder conference. ο Ensure all quotations are followed up when necessary. ο Liaise between Production and customers to efficiently answer general enquiries concerning deliveries and production. ο Meet and exceed the agreed specific performance objectives

We work with poeple,sales,customer service and
we work with people,friendlyness mostly required.we help with office work,filings and sales. i enjoy working at postnet because i learn a lot and i gain experience and it nice working with people challanges we meet is that some customers are difficult and you must do your best when helping them

I have gained a lot of admin experience
Working at Postnet is fun, you work 9-5, learn how to respond to customers and handle certain queries. I work well with my co-workers, and we have a lot of respect for each other. I had the chance to prove that i can do anything in an office environment, i leaned how to do scan and e-mailing, faxing, binding ect. I enjoy working on the computer and with customers, but where it gets really difficult is arranging collections with courier companies both domestic and internationally.

Excellent learning curve
At Postnet we worked with enquiries and mailing. Customers would come asking us to type things for them or even make books for them then bind them. On a typical work day all we usually do is scanning, e-mailing and faxing. I've learnt a lotat postnet all the things i could do I can now do and even working on the machines which can scan, fax,copy, print on bypass. The most challenging aspects in that workplace is having to feel the pressure of working with people who know better thanbyouband even pushing you to do better and trying out things on your own with making a lot of mistakes and paying for them.
Pros: Great opportunity for office work.

Good communication, team player, ambitious,
typical work, customer comes first keep customer happy at all time, have learn good communication skills with co- workers, knowing my market, importing and exporting of parcels, great experience enjoy being around different people.

Excellent learning curve in the logistic field and courier company.
Customer service is key, working with different people everyday, being able to assure client that their parcels are in good hands trustworthy. And it i great learning curve as well as good office work environment for business people on the go and if you want branding like business cards, flyer, and logos deign its a great place to get creative and to think out of the boss for both employee and clients.

Am a fast Learner,Hard work and Honestly
I enjoy doing my job at postnet , i have good relationship with my co-workers ,the give me reason to wake up everyday to go to work because of how the operate with me at work.i have learn to work on my own without supervisors or manager ,and also learn to grow on the business ,what i enjoy most is when i co-operate with my clients that is the most important that makes me happy in this business,the most challenge its when the customers is unhappy and you have to make he/she to be calm ,dealing with the customers its not that much easy because customers always be right even he/she wrong .

Good to gain work experience
A typical day would start with me collecting mail at the post office, driving back to the office to sort out the mail and putting them into their appropriate post boxes, doing collections for well known companies and taking them to the office, wrapping up these goods so they could be collected for over night shipment, helping out in the front shop when there is not so many call outs. I got to learn the routes around johannesburg and how to handle goods that are dear to the clients heart. The management is ok and would encourage one to express themselves freely however the toughest part about my the job was having clients call late just before knock off time and me having to do whatever it takes to make sure the client was happy but it was very satisfying to see a happy client.
