Market research gives one an opportunity to learn a whole alot of thing especially about different companies and products we use in our daily basis, the most thing i have learned about this job is that it teaches you to be patient, good interaction skills and understanding however having a team that you seat with and share the daily experiences that you come across with different respondents that you talk to over the phone grows you as a person cause you gain a skill of having answers to anything that the respondents ask and also learn to be polite. I would say a typical days are field work days were you looking for certain respondents and you working on a quota alloate for you, it also is a challenge but with the kind of work we doing we turn challenges to simplicity and we work together as a team to achieve whats needed.

Good to learn how the industry work and adaptation to pressure.
It's long hours requiring much planning. There is limited team work. I have learned to work extra hard though it is challenging to keep it up 6 days a week over 10 hours daily.

My Job
My company is a great learning ground for first time employees. Its always busy because of the work that we do. On a typical day I go through close to 3000 comments from the collected data from our interviewers. This company has a lot of different characters from different backgrounds and with different opinions and this works perfectly because we are able to team and produce good results. We have all become family and are always there for each other. This job has taught me the right channels of communication and teamwork. It challenged me a lot because I had to learn everything from the start because I didn't have any experience whatsoever. I enjoy our chats in between our breaks and when we find new and better ways of reaching our targets for the day. Whats challenging the most is getting the right information from our interviewers and making sure that we give the client more than they expected, but it is so satisfying when we deliver.
Pros: It is meeting new people from different places with different views.

Excellent learning curve and also able to absorb pressure from difficult clients
I am able to work with difficult users and I just humble myself and pay close attention to users complaints, I have learnt that in a working environment you need to be a humble person and be punctual, I enjoy facing new challenges on a daily basis cause that improves my experience as an IT Technician.And the most challenging aspect is when there is a load shedding.

I’ve learnt quite a lot regarding how to probe fully and for clarity regarding the problems clients
It’s really a good environment to work in and I’ve really learnt a lot regarding how to conduct interviews, probing for clarity regarding the correct information which is needed by the client, the challenge is getting clients which are usually busy and sometimes are unable to give u time to speak with you on the phone and u forced to convince them but otherwise overall the co-workers are good and we work as a team and lastly but not least the challenge is usually reaching a certain target of sales each month because I’m commission based without basic
Pros: We usually face problems of not being given a chance to cough out our problems and the working environment is sometimes difficult due to how things may sometimes be done at the company

I've leanerd how solve the clients problemes using a telephone
We once had a technical problem at the work place, we where working on deadline but we managed to reach our daily goals.Me and my co-workers have a good relationship becuase everyone loves me and im the youngest. I leaned how to type and speak with a clients vai telephone and give them a full service that is needed. I enjoy reaching the goals that are given to me by the supervisor. It was always difficult to speak with a client that is angry with the service.

Great learning curve to corporate world
The working days aren't the same at times without getting any respondent to conduct a survey with, and working with my colleagues is excellent we giving each others motivation to keep on pushi, I've learned that you have to be patient and listen to the advises of those who . Most challenging thing about the job it requires a lot energy and patience.

Great experience
Working at my current job is good, I got to learn and be able to channel myself to working with people which to that was an excellent opportunity,I got to talk to different people everyday which sometimes I would feel overwhelmed by that but I kept my head up and continued with my job.

Good experience in researching company
The working time is 4-8pm during the week and 9am-6pm on weekends..I am supervising a team of 10 people whom have different attitudes but manageable. I have a very good relationship with them, we work together as a team in achieving whatever work is given to us. This job is very challenging as we have to go to different areas and look for people who are willing to take part in our survey. People are very reluctant when it comes to giving their personal details. This job has thought me to be patient.

Best learning environment
As a beginner at plus 94 research I was trained to produce quality data as require..tought how to deal with different types of difficult clients in a positive manner.As well as how to work with co-workers in order to produce quality.The difficult part is having to find clients who are not willing to participate at research while my salary depends on the number of interviews.
