They have thrown me in the deep end many time and i have learnt to swim.

I started off as a receptionist, they moved me up to the bosses PA & HR. They then retrenched the receptionist and moved me back to reception and got a new HR person (student). I do Invoicing, Pro-forma invoices, Credit notes, Purchasing, Answering the switchboard, capture all the petrol the staff use, Petty Cash. I link most job together with the paperwork. I work very closely with the accounts department & the sales persons. I get along with all my co-workers even the people that work in the workshop I get along with. I have learnt Pastel (Didn't know anything when I started at my job) I really enjoy doing my job the only thing I don't like is doing the switchboard again. I would really like to be moved away from reception. The Most Challenging aspect of my job is the purchasing part. The sales people order their own material when they feel like it then I don't have all the paperwork then I need to follow up why it was done like that and where is all the correct paperwork.

Pros: I have really learnt a lot.
Cons: Different rules for different people.
